Please Support Our Initiative

The recent federal enforcement activities have deeply shaken our community, instilling fear and trauma among immigrant families in the Twin Cities. For over 28 years, OPR and the Islamic Civic Society of America have stood as pillars of support, and now, more than ever, we must come together to uphold dignity and resilience. This initiative is about restoring hope and protecting the wellbeing of those who are most vulnerable.

We are coordinating trauma-informed support, culturally responsive mental health counseling, and safe spaces for healing. Our local mosques and community centers are stepping up to provide sanctuary and essential services. However, the economic impact is severe. Many families are facing eviction, food insecurity, and medical emergencies without any government protections.

Your contribution will help us provide rent assistance, food, emergency transportation, and legal support to those in desperate need. Together, we can resist these actions and protect our community’s future. Please join us in this critical effort to support our neighbors during this challenging time.

Thank you for your compassion and generosity.

Best regards,
